You don’t have to be like the average American and gain 7 pounds this holiday season! In this interview with WBZ Radio, Dr. Kantor tells us how to make better holidaychoices and avoid this weight creep that plagues so many Americans.  He says that we shouldn’t try and stick to a strict diet, that we need to do things in moderation and enjoy the holidays. By following his practical suggestions, you can help prevent weight gain, combat stress, and enjoy the holidays. For example, he recommends that if you are already active and exercising, to be sure to continue; even if you need to adjust the time of your workout. If you don’t exercise on a regular basis, at least spend some time walking and aim for 10,000 steps a day.  It is also extremely important that we drink plenty of water, around 1/2 of our body weight per day. Keep it all in balance and enjoy the holidays with these tips and listen to the interview below for more.
