healthy foodMilitary Spouse Magazine recently interviewed Dr. Kantor about ways to make healthy food choices become routine in our families’ lives instead of a conscious effort.  They discuss Dr. Kantor’s background in nutrition, how he got started in the all-natural food business and how that has led them to his latest endeavor, co-authoring his new children’s book, The Green Box League of Nutritious Justice.  Dr. Kantor believes that the only way to turn the health care/obesity crisis around is to start with our children.  The concept of the book is to get the children engaged so that they will bring the ideas back to their families and force the families to do it with them.  This book really is a fun and engaging family resource book, full of recipes, exercises, comics and more.

Dr. Kantor also answers great questions like, “Why is healthy eating important for (military) families,” and “Where is the best place to get started?” With cost-effective and easy suggestions, like drinking ½ of your body weight in water per day, living a healthier lifestyle is achievable for everyone. Listen to the interview and check back for the full article for more great information and tips!
