Affordable Care Act with KUIK RadioMany businesses are worried about what the ramifications of the Affordable Care Act might be and are cutting hours and not hiring new employees in preparation. Dr. Keith Kantor and Jayne Carroll of KUIK Radio recently discussed the many impacts that small businesses and their employees will feel. Dr. Kantor says recent surveys show that about 50% of small businesses with less than 100 employees will do whatever they need to do to not fall under the mandates of Obamacare. This means that they may lay off employees, switch employees to part time, or contract laborers.  With small businesses creating 80% of the jobs in the US, many Americans are sure to feel the impact.
