health careDr. Kantor was recently on The Phil Valentine show to talk about health care, specifically Obamacare. He began by talking about the Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel, which he chaired, that was developed to come up with ideas to help fix the health care system and lower costs without mandates.  The solutions they came up with were easy, common sense ideas like bringing gym classes back into schools, teaching nutrition in the schools, and allowing health policies to be sold interstate.

They also discussed the problems with Obamacare, and the idea that we are facing a two-tiered health care system with the possibility of a single payer system in the future. We are currently just the “first phase” and in the next it is possible that we will move toward a single payer system. Dr. Kantor shares his thoughts on this idea.
