Summer is the time for cookouts with friends and family, and inevitably we are tempted with less than healthy fare.  Dr. Kantor, however, says that there are plenty of healthy options for food and drink so that we can enjoy this time, without wrecking our diets.  He discussed these tips for what to eat and what to avoid with Pam Cloud of Times Record. Some suggestions for healthy eating include: drinking water before and during the cookout, avoiding processed foods like hot dogs and watching out for high calorie condiments.  A few healthy foods we should eat are fruit salad, grilled kabobs and fresh guacamole with crunchy veggies.  Listen in on this interview for more tips and ideas and click the link below for the full article.
