healthier lifestyleThis New Year’s don’t concentrate on losing weight like most people; instead resolve to live a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Kantor shared tips for how to do this successfully with KURV Radio. Trying to lose weight he says, can become an obsession, lead to yo-yo dieting, which is not healthy and often ultimately unsuccessful. The focus needs to be on living an overall healthier lifestyle. 70-80% of weight loss results will come from healthy nutrition and a proper diet, not just working out. Dr. Kantor suggests that we eat all-natural foods including lean proteins, aim for 9 -11 servings of fruits and veggies per day, and drink ½ of our body weight in ounces per day. Exercise is also a key component, but we should do what can be maintained over a long period of time. For more easy tips for living a healthier lifestyle, listen to the interview below.
