holiday stressAlthough the holidays are a wonderful and enjoyable time of year, many of us experience holiday stress. We are trying to find the perfect decorations and gifts, cook the most delicious foods, and overall trying to create the perfect holiday for our family and friends. So how can we relieve that stress, relax and just enjoy the season? Dr. Kantor shares his ideas with Doug Kellett of WPTF Radio. He says that just a little bit of planning will help with stress levels, and also weight gain.  There is no need to go overboard with strict detailed plans, just an overall guideline for what needs to be done during this busy time. Exercise is also a great stress reliever. If you already work out, you need to try and continue as best as possible to fit some sort of exercise in. If you haven’t been exercising, at least try to fit in some time walking, whether it be outside or shopping at the mall. It will burn calories, relieve stress and increase metabolism, all helping to lead towards a healthier and happier holiday.
