It’s likely you are going to gather with friends this Sunday for a Super Bowl party, complete with delicious foods and drinks. In fact, Super Bowl Sunday super bowlis the second largest food consumption day after Thanksgiving. Bruce Newberry of WADK Radio wants to know, how do we enjoy the day without going too crazy with all the party food? Dr. Kantor says that we just have to plan a little bit. We tend skip meals before we arrive and end up overindulging as a result. Instead, eat regular, healthy meals during the day, and drink plenty of water. This will help prevent overeating as well as mindless eating during the party.

They also discussed Dr. Kantor’s new children’s book, The Green Box League of Nutritious Justice, which makes learning about nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle fun and interactive. It’s a book for the whole family with recipes, exercises, health information, comics and more! Dr. Kantor is passionate about his new book because healthy living and nutritional education needs to start with our children and needs to be done as a family.
