obamacareWith the threats of government shutdown looming, Dr. Kantor spoke with WABE Atlanta’s NPR Radio about the fundamentals of Obamacare and voiced his opinions on whether or not he thought it would work.  He also shared what he does with his own businesses, Service Foods and Green Box Foods, which is to help employees live healthier lifestyles, coupled with activity in health and wellness programs.  He says that the most efficient and affordable way around the Affordable Care Act is to not have to use health insurance. The best way to do that is to prevent disease before it occurs, which is the premise of companies like Green Box Foods. They engage employees, and guide them towards leading a healthy lifestyle through education, proper nutrition, and fitness. Dr. Kantor says that this really is the only way to truly fix our health care system, by living healthier lives and turning the focus back on prevention – not treatment.
