ObamacareJim Scott of WLW Radio had many questions for Dr. Kantor relating to Obamacare and it’s implementation on October 1st. They spoke about the advisory committee that Dr. Kantor chaired after Obamacare became law, but prior to it’s implementation.  This committee came up with ways to save money, $253 billion per year to be exact, in our health care system without a mandate.  They made a drastic mistake as health professionals and not politicians, they used common sense. Congress liked the ideas and passed it unanimously in the House Commitee on Ways and Means, but unfortunately it died when it reached the Senate.

So, will Obamacare be good for America, and will it work?  Dr. Kantor says no on both counts since he believes that it wasn’t designed to work in the first place. It was designed to pass the House of Representatives and the Senate and to do that they had to make certain concessions, the biggest one relating to the penalties. They discuss this idea further and agree to revisit this conversation in six months to discuss the progress of Obamacare during that time.
