ObamacareJust a few days ago President Obama addressed the country about the issues we have seen with Obamacare since the marketplaces opened for business.  One major topic was the move to “keep your plan” which Dr. Kantor weighed in on with Medill News Service.  He discussed why so many Americans are seeing increases in their policies, and why millions more are receiving notices saying that their policies have been dropped; 4.3 million of them and climbing. He believes that although the President stated that the insurance companies can renew or extend the policies for one more year, it will still be problematic. The policies that insurance companies choose to renew will likely be those for the young and/or healthy. This will result in many people still loosing their insurance policies, and will take the healthy and young out of the exchanges.
