What is it about the Super Bowl that makes us feel like we can leave our diet at the door?  Steve Wood of the Courier-Post asked Dr. Kantor this Super Bowlquestion and how we can have a healthy and enjoyable Super Bowl Sunday.  Dr. Kantor suggests putting out bowls of veggies with hummus and skewers of fresh fruits.  Grilled steak, chicken, and veggie kabobs are sure to please as well. People tend to mindlessly eat at events like this, so surround them with delicious and healthy foods and there won’t be any complaints.  It’s also important to drink water before, during and after the party.  This will prevent overindulging in unhealthy party fare as well as too many calorie laden alcoholic beverages.
