Its football season and sometimes we can get carried away with a little excessive alcohol consumption watching out favorite teams.  This smoothie is a great option for any morning but especially those mornings when we may have drank a little too much. Skip the old college method of a greasy breakfast to coat your stomach instead the healthy fats and antioxidants from this smoothie will do the trick without the extra calories.

Serving size – 16 oz.

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz. vanilla coconut yogurt
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 cup  spinach
  • 1/2 cup unsweet coconut milk
  • 1/8 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp. unsweet plain cocoa powder

 

Directions:

  1. Add ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.
  1. Pour into a glass.
