In a recent interview with The Weather Channel, Dr. Kantor discussed the impact that meat production can have on the environment. Why are some meats better or worse for the environment? How much damage are meats and their production actually causing? Dr. Kantor goes into detail about the different types of greenhouse gasses, the different animals, and how they impact our health as well as the environment. Collectively he says, all of the animals do produce a significant amount of methane, which is a worse greenhouse gas than say CO2.
