When asked by the Herald Democrat, “What exactly is The Green Box League of Nutritious Justice?” Dr. Kantor shared that it was the most fun thing he has ever done. It’s a childhood obesityfamily resource on healthy living that is very child friendly, and also aimed at beating childhood obesity.  The animated fruits, veggies, and proteins capture children’s attention and keep them engaged.  This Mom’s Choice Award winning book is more important now than ever with obesity reaching epidemic proportions.  The obesity epidemic is still growing; it just isn’t growing as quickly. By 2030, it ‘s estimated that 50% of all children will be obese, increasing their chances for almost all chronic illnesses. For this reason we need to teach children at a very young age how to make healthy lifestyle choices, making it fun and understandable for them. People are living longer, but if the last 10 or 15 years are spent in poor health, it defeats a lot of the purpose of living a longer life. If you lead a healthy lifestyle you will live longer and be able to engage in the activities that you enjoy.
