Health and Nutrition with The AdvocateDr. Keith Kantor returns to The Advocate Radio Show to talk with Nick Phillips about health and nutrition in the restaurant industry.  Under Obamacare a new law will take effect in 2014, which states that restaurants with more than 20 stores will be required to post their calorie count somewhere visible in the restaurant.  This has already resulted in smaller portions to cut calorie counts, however, Dr. Kantor believes that an American trend toward a healthier lifestyle was already starting.  He shares tips for making good choices while dining out such as eating smaller portions, boxing half of your meal to-go before you get your plate, and being weary of sauces, dressings, and other condiments.  Nutritional wellness benefit platforms, such as Green Box Foods, can also help by keeping track of calories consumed, calories burned and showing many different exercise options.
