Healthy Summer with CKOM

Dr. Keith Kantor and David Kirten of The CKOM Afternoon News recently discussed healthy summer BBQ tips.  Everyone loves cooking out with family and friends, enjoying the summer weather, and can enjoy the eating along with it too. You can BBQ, enjoy lean protein like chicken, steaks and burgers but watch the extra items that you typically eat along with it.  Avoid sides like potato chips and highly processed foods like hot dogs.  Also be aware of sugar and salt content of the BBQ sauces that you use.  By taking a little extra time to look at what you are actually eating, you can be healthy and enjoy it too.
