Diet with Food NavigatorWe all know that our diet affects how we look and feel, but can it affect our behavior, mood and relationships with other people? Dr. Keith Kantor believes that it can and discusses this topic with Food Navigator.  Dr. Kantor explains that for men, behavior and mood are affected by their testosterone levels and their ratio of testosterone to estrogen.  Likewise, women are impacted by the ratio of estrogen to progesterone. He suggests specific foods that men and women can incorporate into their diets to help increase and maintain the production of appropriate hormones. He also lists foods to avoid that can interfere with maintaining the proper levels. Vitamins and nutrition from food are the best sources, however, if your diet is lacking, you might consider a supplement.

Can proper nutrition really affect a relationship? If you can control the levels of hormones in men and women and the ratios between them it will make them less irritable.  This will help reduce strain on a relationship and make it more enjoyable! Listen for more great information.
